For Liberty County Bail Bonds, there are 2 methods of bonding someone out of jail. This can be done at a licensed bail bondsman’s office or over the telephone. These methods make it more convenient for the indemnitor, or person who represents the arrestee. Providing over the phone bonding services allows the indemnitor to bond an arrestee out of jail without physically appearing at a bondsman’s office, or even being in the same state. Whether physically appearing at an office in the arresting county or over-the-phone bonding, the information the indemnitor w
ill need is as follows:
- Arrestee’s name
- Arrestee’s date of birth
- Date arrest took place
- The set bail amount
- A form of payment
- Fax machine, for phone services
- Copy machine, for phone services
After providing the bondsman with this information the next stage of the process is filling out paperwork and contracts called, bond forms. These are the contracts between indemnitor and bondsman. The forms will include:
- A defendant questionnaire
- A credit card authorization form
- A bail bond conditions form
- Privacy disclosure
The Liberty County bondsman and the indemnitor are then assumed responsible for the arrestee’s return to all court dates pertaining to the case.
Payment options:

The indemnitor is required to pay the standard 10% of initial set bail to bond out a defendant. This is the case in Florida State bonds and Liberty County bonds. This changes in the event the bond is an immigration bail bond, federal bail bond, or a transfer bail bond. In these cases, the risk is higher that the defendant will not make it to court hearings related to his or her case.

The next stage in the process will be waiting for the inmate to be released from the jail. Depending on the jail the arrestee is in, this could take anywhere from 1 to 4 hours. After release, the bondsman may need additional forms filled out by the defendant.

Providing the defendant attends all required court appearances, the bond amount paid, of 10%, will be returned to the indemnitor minus the bondsman’s fee for the bonding service provided. Any collateral put up by the indemnitor will also be released at this time. In some rare cases the indemnitor may also be charged a transfer fee. This only occurs if the Liberty County bail bondsman is not unavailable and the bond is transferred to a different bondsman in a different county.
