8 Frequently Asked Questions Answered by Lehigh Acres bail bonds

Below, we at Lehigh Acres Bail Bonds, answer your top 8 most frequently asked questions about bail bonds.  If by chance we don’t answer your individual question, you can call our office at anytime and speak to a licensed Lehigh Acres bail bondsman.

  • How much do I have to pay a Bail Bondsman to get my loved one out of jail?
You will pay a Bail Bondsman 10% of the bail that is set by the judge and required to be posted for your loved one to get out of jail.

The only exceptions are immigration bail and federal bail; those cases require a 15% payment.

  • Do I get that money back if my loved one appears in court?

No, your payment is for the bail bond services, including putting up the full amount of the bail, filling out and filing the paperwork, and working with you and the jail to get your loved one released.

  • How do I pay for the Lehigh Acres Bail Bonds?

For your convenience, we accept payment for our services in many different forms.  These include Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, cash, money orders, and personal checks.  A payment plan may be available.  Call to ask.

  • When should I call your office?

You are welcome to call our office at anytime you need us to bail you out of jail, bail out a loved one out of jail, or answer questions.  We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days per year.  Because our clients need us around the clock and even on holidays, we never close.

  • Will I lose my house if my loved one doesn’t show up to court?

It is not usually necessary to post collateral, such as your house, to bail a loved one out of jail.  There are other easier and safer forms of payment, including credit cards, cash, money orders, and personal checks.  A payment plan may be available.  Call to ask.

  • What if they don’t tell my loved one his court date before he’s released on bail?

If your loved one’s court date is not set before he is released from jail on bail, we will notify you and your loved one as soon as the date has been set.

  • Do I have to come into your Lehigh Acres Bail Bonds Office to hire you?

No, you can hire us over the phone (from anywhere.)  To learn how that works, click here:  Bail by Phone.  You are always welcome to call us.

  • Will my neighbors know that I hired you?
No, your neighbors will not know that you hired Lehigh Acres bail bonds services unless you or a loved one tells them.  Our job, when you hire us, is to get your loved one out of jail so he or she can go home to be with family.  We keep your private business, private.
