This is the job of the Indemnitor, who becomes the responsible party for the defendant.  The majority of the forms should be able to be obtained over the internet, but on rare occasions a trip to a Bail Bondman’s office may be needed.  The usual case though, is that everything can be done from home, and the paperwork can just be faxed back to the relevant office dealing with the application.

With the paperwork all done, then the Columbia County Florida Bail Bond can be posted.  Upon release, the defendant may need to address some further paperwork, and once everything has been officially dealt with, the defendant will pass into the realm of the Indemnitor’s responsibility.  If there are any court appearances due by the defendant, both the Indemnitor and the Bail Bondsman will be responsible for the defendant fulfilling those appointments.
